2025 Hockey Academy

Green and Gold Hockey Academy

The Green and Gold Hockey Academy is a development camp designed to help players prepare for their upcoming season with fast-paced practices, skill sessions, and a competitive game. This is not a showcase, as only one game will be played at the end of camp. We aim to offer a world-class experience, and therefore, we find it to be much more beneficial to spend time on practices, small area games, and skills. These activities are carefully designed to enhance players' skills, boost their confidence, and prepare them for the challenges of the upcoming season. The development camp is run by the coaching staff of the Clarkson University Men’s Hockey team and is hosted in Potsdam, NY at Clarkson University’s Cheel Arena. Daily guest coaches will also assist with practices and games; you can find a list of our past guest coaches by clicking here.  

We have had a successful two years of running this camp, and we are excited to offer the following camp for 2025: 
Wednesday, July 30th – Thursday, July 31st, 2025: 2007-2010 Birth Years

Throughout camp, players will experience the following:

• 1 High Tempo Practice
• 1 Small Area Games and 4v4 Practice
• 1 Position-Specific Skills Practice
• 1 Competitive Game
• NCAA Hockey Information Seminar and Q&A
• Clarkson University Campus and Clarkson Hockey Facility Tour
• Recovery session with Clarkson Strength Coach 

At only $375, the Green and Gold Hockey Academy offers an unparalleled opportunity for players to prepare for their upcoming season, develop their skills, and get to know Clarkson, other NCAA coaches, and prep and junior coaches. We believe that our camp, with its focus on skill development and the chance to interact with top coaches, is not only beneficial but also the most affordable option available.
